About This Position

Schedule: Evening Shift 2:30PM-10:30PM; rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
Pay: $22.00–$23.00 per hour; merit-based increases
Reports To: Charge Nurse, Nursing Manager, and Administrator

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care and support to residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities.

The CNA will assist residents with activities of daily living, follow individualized care plans, promote resident safety and dignity, and contribute to a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist residents with grooming, dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility

Follow individualized resident care plans and accurately document observations and care provided

Assist residents with meals, dining, recreational activities, and other daily routines

Promote resident dignity, independence, comfort, and safety

Follow infection control procedures and proper body mechanics

Respond appropriately to emergencies and provide support to other caregivers as needed

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Observe and report changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional condition

Report suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation according to company policy and state regulations

Communicate effectively with nurses, managers, coworkers, residents, and families

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

Current CNA certification required

At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred

Previous dementia or memory care experience preferred

Current CPR and First Aid certification required

Dementia and Mental Health Training

Food Handler's Card

Compassionate, patient, dependable, and willing to learn

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and/or assist with lifting up to 50 pounds

Ability to push up to 250 pounds in a wheelchair or cart

Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and perform repetitive arm and hand movements

Ability to safely assist residents with transfers and mobility

Ability to remain physically active throughout the shift
