About This Position
Licensed Practical Nurse – Long-Term Care
Location: Wakefield, Nebraska
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, including weekends as needed
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Overtime: Available for open shifts but not guaranteed
Requirements
Active LPN license
Long-Term Care/SNF experience preferred
Experience caring for LTC and dementia patients
Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts
Willingness to work weekends
PointClickCare experience preferred
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to long-term care and skilled nursing residents
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Monitor and document patient conditions and vital signs
Assist with care planning and communicate changes in patient condition
Provide care for residents with dementia and other chronic conditions
Collaborate with CNAs and other members of the healthcare team
Maintain accurate electronic documentation using PointClickCare
Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents
Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,700.00 per week
Experience:
LPN: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
BLS Certification (Required)
LPN License (Required)
