About This Position
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care across diverse settings, including long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, hospitals, and outpatient clinics.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to patients according to individualized care plans and physician orders.
Assess patients' conditions, monitor vital signs, and recognize and report changes in health status.
Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed therapies safely and accurately.
Perform gastrostomy tube (G-tube) care, including site care, medication administration, and enteral feedings.
Provide and monitor enteral nutrition, including checking tolerance and maintaining feeding equipment.
Insert, maintain, and provide care for Foley/urinary catheters, including monitoring urine output and identifying signs of infection.
Perform tracheostomy care, including suctioning, site care, and monitoring respiratory status as permitted by scope of practice.
Provide wound care, dressing changes, skin care, and pressure-injury prevention.
Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, nutrition, and mobility.
Pay: $37.00 - $47.00 per hour
