About This Position
Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks with possible extension
Location: Lubbock, TX
Shift: 2pm-10pm (Required to work every other weekend shift)
Pay Rate: $40/hr
**First 5 weeks will require training 8am-5pm Monday-Friday**
Job Summary:
The LVN will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and support individuals with specialized healthcare needs in a structured clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Educate patients on medications and care plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Perform computer-based data entry (training provided)
Deliver skilled nursing care including: Gastrostomy tube care / enteral feedings, Foley catheter care, and Tracheostomy care
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
Job Requirements:
Active LVN license in the state of Texas
Basic computer proficiency
Minimum 1 year of direct patient care experience (2+ years preferred)
Strong clinical skills and ability to handle complex patient care needs
