About This Position
Fastaff is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) for high-paying travel nursing assignments across the United States. Earn up to $3,700 per week while delivering life-saving care in fast-paced Emergency Departments (EDs) and Trauma Centers nationwide.
As a Travel ER RN, you'll provide critical nursing care to patients experiencing acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. You'll conduct rapid patient assessments, triage patients based on acuity, administer emergency interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to stabilize and treat patients during some of their most critical moments.

About the Role
As an Emergency Room RN, you'll play a vital role in delivering rapid, evidence-based care to patients requiring emergency medical attention due to trauma, injury, illness, or life-threatening conditions.
Success in this role requires strong clinical judgment, quick decision-making, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. You'll work alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional emergency care and improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and emergency triage
Recognize and respond to life-threatening conditions
Provide emergency nursing care for patients with acute illnesses and traumatic injuries
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency interventions
Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the healthcare team
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop treatment plans
Stabilize critically ill and injured patients
Educate patients and family members regarding treatments and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER/ED) experience
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity healthcare environments
