Assignment Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5x8 Days
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Start Date: August 31, 2026(Or within 2 weeks of offer date)
On-Call: As needed by the facility
Housing: Facility housing may be available
What You’ll Lead
Direct the overall operations, programs and performance of the Nursing Services Department
Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
Lead, evaluate and develop nursing personnel while maintaining accountability and high standards
Participate in admission decisions and facility leadership meetings
Drive QAPI, facility assessments and performance-improvement initiatives
Maintain appropriate staffing coverage and strong nursing supervision
Promote compassionate, resident-centered care throughout the facility
What You’ll Need
Active and unrestricted RN license (South Dakota or Compact Nursing License)
Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 3+of recent Director of Nursing experience—required
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical operations
Proven ability to lead teams, improve performance and maintain compliance
Important Compliance Information: The facility conducts its own background check and drug screening in addition to the agency’s requirements. Facility results can take7–10 business days, and clearance must be completed before the assignment can begin—so qualified candidates should act quickly!
