About This Position
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient Personal Care Assistant to provide in-home support for an adult client living with paralysis. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's daily life by helping them maintain independence, comfort, and dignity.
Responsibilities
Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Help with transfers, positioning, and mobility using proper techniques and equipment.
Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a clean living environment.
Accompany the client to appointments or community outings as needed.
Monitor the client's comfort and report any concerns or changes in condition.
Provide respectful companionship while supporting the client's daily routine.
Qualifications
Previous caregiving, CNA, home health, or personal care experience is preferred but not required.
Reliable, compassionate, and trustworthy.
Able to follow care instructions and maintain client confidentiality.
Comfortable assisting with transfers and personal care.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Schedule
Flexible shifts are available, and every other weekend is required. Hours would be 10pm - 6am and morning hours 8:45am - 10:30am, days and hours will vary. Differential pay for shifts from 6pm to 6am for nights and weekends.
Pay
Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
