Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Practical Nurse
Location: Lubbock, TX 79415
Openings: 3 LVNs
Contract Length: 6 months
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and procedures.
Administer medications and perform required treatments.
Provide medication education to patients as appropriate.
Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
Perform computer data entry and maintain patient records.
Work under the supervision of the Unit RN and Unit Nurse Manager.
Monitor patients and communicate changes in condition to the appropriate nursing staff.
Perform advanced nursing skills as required, including:
Gastrostomy tubes (G-tubes)
Enteral feedings
Foley catheter care
Tracheostomy care
Other complex patient-care procedures
Experience/Requirements
Must be currently licensed to practice as an LVN in Texas.
Minimum 1 year of direct-care nursing experience; 2+ years preferred.
Current CPR certification required.
Must provide a valid photo ID.
Must provide current TB documentation.
Must provide a copy of current nursing license.
Must successfully complete a urine drug screen and background check.
Must successfully complete an FBI fingerprint background check. (Provided by the facility)
COVID-19 testing with a negative result is required; testing will be provided by the facility.
Experience with G-tubes/enteral feeding, Foley catheters, tracheostomies, and other advanced nursing skills is preferred.
