About This Position

Lincoln Surgical Hospital is an innovative healthcare leader committed to delivering exceptional surgical services to our patients. Our dedicated physicians and staff strive to achieve optimal outcomes in a patient-focused environment. We are seeking compassionate, high-quality individuals to join our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and provide exceptional patient care.

Schedule

Full-time, 72 hours per pay period (biweekly)

Three 12-hour shifts per week: 5:45 AM – 6:15 PM

Self-scheduling available

Minimal weekend requirements:

2 Fridays, 1 Saturday, and 1 Sunday within a 6-week period

Position Summary

In this role, you will assist nursing staff in delivering comprehensive patient care within the scope of your certification, helping ensure a safe, comfortable, and positive experience for every patient.

Key Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living

Ambulate patients as directed

Safely and comfortably position patients based on individual needs

Obtain, record, and report vital signs to the nurse

Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas; stock and replenish supplies and equipment as needed

Follow standard precautions and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE)

Current Nebraska Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from a state-approved training program (required)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at time of hire (required)

Food preparation/cook permit within 7 days of hire (required)

Previous experience in an acute care setting (preferred)
