Nursing Assistant in Training

Are you looking for the next step in a rewarding healthcare career? Nu Roc Health and Rehabilitation Center is offering an exciting opportunity for passionate caregivers who want to become Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)—with no out-of-pocket expense through the WisCaregivers Program.
Nu Roc is currently hiring Nursing Assistants in Training to join our AMAZING team. This role allows you to gain hands-on healthcare experience while completing an approved nursing assistant training program and earning CNA certification through one of our partnered schools (CNA Training not completed on site).
Essential Functions prior to completing course
Complete admission and discharge inventory lists
Transport clean and soiled linen to designated areas
Pass meal trays and assist with basic tray setup
Assist with feeding when competency has been demonstrated
Transport items between dining areas and the Dietary Department
Pass coffee and water during meal times
Transport residents to dining areas, activities, care conferences, and their rooms
Answer call lights and provide basic assistance (no hands-on care)
Monitor and replenish bedside patient care items (e.g., gloves, lotion, powder)
Perform other duties as assigned
Assist in housekeeping and/or laundry
Assist in Activities
After CNA Course
Transition to a CNA Position!!!!
Requirements
Previous experience as a Caregiver or in a similar healthcare role preferred
Ability to work Full-Time or Part-Time schedules
Ability to work under stress and in emergency situations
