About This Position

Job Summary

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a NOC Shift (Overnight) RN/LPN, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care during overnight hours. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort through comprehensive assessments, medication administration, and critical care support. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will utilize your expertise to deliver high-quality care across diverse settings, including long-term care, assisted living, and acute care facilities. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us maintain our commitment to excellence and compassionate service around the clock.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patient conditions during overnight shifts, including vital signs, physical examinations, and symptom evaluation.

Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols, including IV infusions and aseptic techniques.

Document all patient interactions, assessments, treatments, and medication administrations clearly within electronic health record (EHR) systems, PCC

Assist with complex procedures such as catheterization, dialysis management, and wound care including ostomy care.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on resident matters

Ensure infection control standards are maintained through proper specimen collection/processing and adherence to HIPAA regulations for medical records confidentiality.

Skills

Skilled in working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, individuals dementia care needs.

Proficient in EMR/EHR systems like Point Click Care; capable of detailed medical documentation and medical records management.

Demonstrated ability to perform laboratory procedures such as phlebotomy and specimen collection; experienced in IV insertion and catheter care.

Excellent patient assessment skills with experience in triage, urgent care protocols, hospice & palliative medicine or post-acute care settings.

Knowledgeable about infection control practices, aseptic techniques, airway management, and emergency response procedures including basic life support (BLS).
