About This Position
Job Purpose:
The RN Supervisor at Ovation Communities will play a crucial role in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This full-time position requires a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse who can lead by example, manage day-to-day operations, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support nursing staff, providing guidance and leadership to ensure optimal patient care.
Coordinate and oversee daily nursing operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
Monitor patient care activities and intervene as necessary to address any issues or concerns.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to nursing staff.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
Address and resolve any conflicts or issues within the nursing team promptly and professionally.
Required Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
Proven track record of managing nursing staff and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide nursing teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
