About This Position
Location: CUMC-Bergan Campus off of 77th & Mercy
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-430p, NO weekends, NO holidays & NO call!
Are you a registered nurse (RN) or LPN who thrives on organized chaos and genuinely loves helping people? Do you have a knack for making even the most complex medical explanations sound like a chat with a friend? Then keep reading, because we're looking for you!
We're a bustling, patient-centered General Surgery Clinic – meaning every day brings new challenges, new faces, and opportunities to make a real difference. We're a team of skilled surgeons, compassionate MAs, and office superheroes who believe that stellar patient care can also be delivered with a smile.
What you'll be doing:
You'll be the ultimate guide for our patients, walking them through what to expect before surgery and how to recover like a champ afterward. This means everything from detailed education and medication reconciliation to fielding questions with grace and expertise.
From minor lacerations to complex post-surgical dressings, your hands will work wonders, promoting healing and preventing infection. You'll be a master of sterile technique and a guru of gauze.
Quickly assess patient needs, prioritize urgent cases, and effectively communicate with providers to ensure prompt and appropriate care. Think of yourself as the clinic's early warning system, but with a stethoscope.
You'll be the vital link between patients, families, surgeons, and other healthcare providers. Your clear, concise, and empathetic communication will be legendary.
Ready to join a team where you can put your amazing nursing skills to work and still enjoy coming to work every day? If you're ready to suture up your resume and send it our way, we can't wait to meet you!
