Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, particularly those with dementia or in hospice care.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and progress.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
Previous caregiving experience is highly desirable.
Experience working with children or in assisted living environments is a plus.
Familiarity with dementia care practices and hospice care principles.
Medication administration required. (Training and Certifications provided if needed)
