About This Position

About Us

The Surgery Center of Silverdale, nestled between the Olympic Mountains and the Puget Sound, is Kitsap County’s only physician-owned ambulatory surgery center. Founded in 2007 by local physicians, we are built on a single belief: that the people of Kitsap County deserve premium surgical care close to home.

The Surgery Center of Silverdale is certified by the State of Washington and Medicare and accredited by the AAAHC — a mark of our commitment to the highest standards of ambulatory surgical care. We are a close-knit, family-oriented team where nurses, surgical techs, and anesthesia providers work seamlessly together — and where leadership means rolling up your sleeves alongside the people you lead.

This is a dual-role position. You will serve as both the clinical leader of our OR department and an active circulating RN. If you thrive when you’re both building the team and part of it, this role was made for you.

The Role

As OR Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations of our three operating rooms and a staff of 9–12, reporting directly to the Administrator and working in close partnership with our Medical Director and PreOp/PACU manager. You will be the connective tissue between clinical excellence, staff development, and efficient throughput.

Lead, mentor, and develop a cohesive OR team of 9–12 nurses and surgical techs

Actively circulate in the OR as a key member of the surgical team

Collaborate with PreOp/PACU manager to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient case scheduling

Partner with the Medical Director on quality, safety, and performance initiatives

Manage OR staffing, scheduling, supply inventory, and equipment oversight

Maintain compliance with State of Washington, Medicare, and AAAHC standards

Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and genuine teamwork

What You Bring

Active RN license in the State of Washington

Minimum 3 years of OR experience, with at least 1 year in a charge, lead, or supervisory capacity

Ambulatory surgery center (ASC) experience strongly preferred

Demonstrated ability to build high-performing, collaborative teams

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Proven clinical competency across multiple surgical specialties

Strong organizational, scheduling, and operational problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills in English

Strong ethical character and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care

Benefits

No nights, weekends, or call

Fully paid life insurance

Paid time off

401k with company match for eligible employees

Family-oriented, supportive team culture

Growth & Opportunity

We invest in our leaders. As the Surgery Center of Silverdale continues to grow and serve the Kitsap community, so do the opportunities for those who help build it. The right candidate will find real potential for expanded leadership responsibilities and a long-term career home in a center that values the people who make it exceptional.

Why Surgery Center of Silverdale

You won’t take call, work weekends, or pull night shifts. What you will find is a team that has each other’s backs — one that lends a hand, gives a break, and makes the work genuinely enjoyable. This is community healthcare the way it was meant to be: physician-owned, internally managed, and deeply invested in the people we serve.
