About This Position
ADULT CARE UNIT (ACU) REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
Pay: $70/hour
Location: Chinle, AZ – Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility
Job Type:Contract | 36–40 hrs/week
We’re hiring experienced Registered Nurses to join the Adult Care Unit (ACU) in Chinle, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Med-Surg nurses looking for a contract assignment with 12-hour shifts and strong hourly pay.
What You'll Do
Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments
Monitor patients and recognize changes in condition
Perform IV access, phlebotomy, EKGs, POC testing, and other clinical procedures
Respond to emergencies and participate in code response
Document patient care in the EHR
Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
Provide education and support to patients and families
Float or assist in other areas as needed
Requirements
Current, unrestricted RN license
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
At least 2 years of adult Med-Surg or relevant experience
BLS and ACLS – American Heart Association
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute-care environment
Must pass required background, credentialing, and health screenings
Schedule
12-hour shifts
Rotating day and night shifts
7 shifts every 2 weeks
Approximately 36–40 hours/week
Weekends and holidays may be required
