About This Position
Midwest Eye Surgery Center is looking for an Operating Room/Circulating Nurse to work in our ASC.
In this role YOU will:
Be responsible for the delivery of safe, effective and quality patient care.
Work in the Operating Room.
Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of patient; responds to emergency situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures and protocol.
Communicate with other surgery center staff, anesthesia care provider and the surgeon to coordinate a safe and comfortable surgical experience. Participates in patient education.
Responsible for ensuring that the patient understands their post-operative care requirements.
Observing patient, recording significant incidents; takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient.

Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program from college or technical school.
RN with active license in NE or a multi-state compact RN license.
Ability to obtain ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Offered Candidates will need to do the following before first day:
Successfully complete a background check which includes an education verification, and a license verification.
Successfully complete drug testing.
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
