Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Dermatology
Location: Appleton, WI
Schedule: Full-Time (36 hours/week)
Hours: Between 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM, Monday–Friday
Weekends & Holidays: Never
Sign-On Bonus: $2,000

Dermatology experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate who brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for patient care.
What You'll Do
As a key member of our clinical team, you will support providers and patients throughout the entire care experience by:
Patient Care & Clinical Support
Room patients and obtain medical histories
Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Assist providers during patient visits by scribing and documenting care
Prepare and send prescriptions as directed by providers
Educate patients on treatment plans and patient portal usage
Manage patient phone calls and messages within scope of practice
Clinical Procedures
Assist providers during biopsies, excisions, and other dermatologic procedures
Prepare procedure trays, instruments, medications, and supplies
Administer local anesthetic as permitted by licensure and training
Maintain sterile technique during procedures
Sterilize and process instruments using autoclave equipment
Prepare specimens for pathology transport and maintain accurate records
Clinic Operations
Monitor patient flow and assist with maintaining provider schedules
Ensure exam and treatment rooms remain clean, stocked, and prepared
Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Support compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and safety standards

Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program; OR
Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification with eligibility to work in Wisconsin; OR
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with eligibility to work in Wisconsin
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous dermatology experience
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
Previous clinical or procedural assisting experience
