About the Role:
As a key clinical support team member, you’ll assist providers in delivering exceptional care across a variety of dermatologic and surgical services. This role involves working at multiple locations, offering diverse learning opportunities and skill development.
Must be able to travel to all four locations:
Appleton, WI
New London, WI
Shawano, WI
Waupaca, WI
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for exams, gather medical history, and update EHR records
Maintain patient flow and provider schedules to ensure on-time appointments
Perform scribing tasks and prepare/send prescriptions as directed
Keep exam rooms and supplies sanitized, stocked, and ready
Assist with surgical procedures: prepping instruments, ensuring sterile techniques, and supporting providers
Prepare liquid nitrogen containers and pathology specimens
Promote use of the patient portal and maintain accurate documentation
Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and all regulatory compliance policies
Maintain equipment and clinic supplies; report maintenance issues as needed
Continue professional development through training and educational resources
Perform additional duties as assigned
What You Bring:

Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical environment
Detail-oriented and tech-savvy with EHR systems
Willingness to learn dermatology-specific procedures, including scribing, local anesthetic administration, and surgical assistance
Demonstrated ability to follow sterile techniques and support surgical procedures
Team-focused, dependable, and proactive
Qualifications:
Required (one of the following):
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) eligible to work in Wisconsin
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in Wisconsin
Graduate of a recognized surgical technology program or military equivalent
Preferred: Dermatology experience (but not required – we’ll train the right candidate!)
Compensation & Benefits:
$2,000 Sign-On Bonus – After successful completion of the introductory period
Competitive hourly pay ($24/hour)
