Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate review and verification of inpatient medication orders.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote safe, effective pharmacotherapy.
- Monitor therapies and support medication optimization in accordance with clinical standards.
- Support pharmacy workflow to maintain timely service to the inpatient unit.
- Assist with medication-related problem solving and safe transitions of therapy as needed.
Requirements
- Active pharmacist license in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Must be able to work in an inpatient setting and support clinical medication verification.
