About This Position
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Travel Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized critical care in,. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in pediatric critical care, demonstrating proficiency in managing complex cases within a fast-paced hospital environment. As a Travel PICU RN, you will deliver exceptional patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and adapt to diverse clinical settings. Requirements
Minimum of one recent year experience in PICU and 2 years experience as a RN
Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or a temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure for the current state of practice.
BLS certification is required.
Maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area through annual validations.
Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, stretching, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs.
Adequate hearing and visual acuity, including color vision.
Fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, and grasping ability.
Ability to use proper body mechanics for patient assistance.
Effective communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking.
