About This Position
University Post Acute is a 5-Star CMS rated skilled memory care facilty that is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing operations on the weekends. This leadership role involves managing nursing staff, ensuring compliance with long-term care regulations, and maintaining high standards of resident care. The ideal candidate will bring strong nursing management skills, long-term care experience, and a solid understanding of nursing leadership principles to support a compassionate and efficient healthcare environment.
Duties
Oversee resident care delivery to ensure it meets established standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate admission processes, including assessments and documentation, ensuring smooth transitions for new residents.
Maintain compliance with long-term care regulations and stay updated on relevant policies to ensure facility adherence.
Utilize Point Click Care or similar electronic health record systems for documentation, medication management, and reporting.
Supervise clinical operations and/or provide IV therapy and other specialized nursing procedures.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
Monitor quality assurance initiatives and implement improvements as needed to enhance resident outcomes.
Requirements
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Proven experience in long-term care settings with a strong understanding of long-term care regulations.
Prior nursing leadership or management experience is essential.
Knowledge of IV therapy procedures and experience with admission processes in a healthcare setting.
Proficiency with Point Click Care or similar electronic health record systems.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong knowledge of nursing practices combined with a compassionate approach to resident care.
