About This Position
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Advanced Practice Provider (APP), either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), specializing in outpatient Neurology, working 7 hours per day, 3-5 days per week. New graduates are welcome. There is no after-hour call. If you are interested in NCS or Botox injections we will teach you!
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough neurological history and exam to diagnose and treat patients appropriately.
Prescribing medications, including controll substances (DEA license required)
Utilize Tebra, a web-based EHR, to document clinical encounters.
Order HCT, MRI, EMG, or EEG as appropriate.
Communicate with our team to facilitate optimal care.
Requirements
Current licensure as an NP or PA with certification in neurology or relevant specialty areas. DEA license required.
Post-graduate work experience in outpatient Neurology preferred but not required.
Proficiency in Tebra for documentation and data management. Dragon available but not required.
neuroanatomy, Strong knowledge of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, neurodiagnostics, ICD coding (ICD-10), and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
Ability to perform focused neurological examinations for localization.
Excellent communication skills to explain neurological conditions and outcomes to patients and families; Spanish is a plus but not required. You will compensated fairly for your hard work; your dedication is valued here!
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
