About This Position

This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Registered Nurse, BSN, ready to make a difference through one-on-one care within a preschool classroom environment. Working onsite, you’ll play a crucial role providing specialized medical support to a 3-year-old student, ensuring a safe and nurturing atmosphere during their school days.
Key Requirements & Desired Experience:
Active RN BSN license valid in Washington state
Previous experience supporting pediatric populations, especially in school or similar environments, preferred
Confidence in managing care for children with hearing loss, providing g-tube assistance, and supporting mobility/positioning for wheelchair users
Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents
Ability to maintain accurate records and adhere to strict confidentiality standards
What You’ll Do:
Provide attentive 1:1 care for a preschool student, ensuring medical and safety needs are met throughout the school day
Assist with hearing loss accommodations, g-tube feedings, and all mobility needs tied to wheelchair use
Collaborate with educational team members to integrate medical care into the student’s daily activities
Monitor, document, and communicate changes in the student’s condition promptly and professionally
Build relationships with families and educators to foster a supportive environment for student growth
