About This Position
Job Summary
We are currently seeking an Medica Assistant, LPN or RN n to join our patient centered and compassionate healthcare team. This is a part-time position averaging 24-30 hours per week, M-F.
Duties
Records a patient’s medical history, symptoms, and vitals.
Updates patient charts and electronic health records (EHR).
Performs medical tasks, including sample acquisition, blood draws and assists with in-office procedures.
Schedules surgeries and obtains appropriate insurance authorizations for surgeries and other testing as required.
Collaborates and works efficiently with office staff, nurses, doctors, and management in a supportive team setting.
Requirements
MA, LPN or RN
Valid current medical license
CPR Certification or ability to obtain upon employment
Knowledge of EHR, medical terminology
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively while maintaining high standards of care
