Certified Nursing Assistant / Medical Assistant
As a Certified Nursing Assistant with Schlessinger MD, you'll be at the heart of our vibrant and award-winning dermatology clinic. Your main responsibilities will revolve around assisting our dedicated providers and fellow nurses in patient care, managing administrative duties with a smile, and delivering top-notch customer service to our cherished patients. In this role you will...
Possess a deep dedication to patient well-being, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong commitment to providing outstanding assistance to our clinic team.
Welcome and room patients while creating a warm and professional experience
Facilitate patient lab work by preparing ordered labs and pathology samples to be sent out
Prepare examination and procedure rooms by ensuring they are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
Assist providers with medical treatments, procedures, and exams.
Assist nursing team with daily duties to include: laundry, sterilizing rooms, autoclaving instruments
Location: On-site- Omaha, Nebraska
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Current schedule: Monday-Thursday

We are looking for someone with:
Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, medical professionals, and other external parties in a courteous, helpful, and friendly manner.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Team focused mentality: jump in where you can to minimize wait times.
