Duties
Perform injectable treatments such as Botulinum toxin (Botox) and dermal fillers to reduce wrinkles and restore youthful appearance.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, skin analysis, and treatment planning.
Administer aesthetic procedures with precision, adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
Educate clients on treatment options, post-procedure care, and realistic outcomes to foster trust and satisfaction.
Maintain detailed medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Monitor patient responses during procedures, manage any adverse reactions promptly, and provide appropriate follow-up care.
Stay current with industry advancements, certifications, and best practices in aesthetic nursing to continually enhance service quality.
Requirements
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with relevant state licensing boards.
Proven experience administering Botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers in an aesthetic or medical setting.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to facial aesthetics.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation.
Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to educate and build rapport effectively.
Demonstrated aseptic technique adherence and understanding of infection control protocols.
Additional experience preferred in ophthalmology, dermatology, or cosmetic medicine; certification in advanced aesthetic procedures is a plus.
