SUMMARY: Provides and monitors safe, cost-effective patient care in accordance with RN scope of practice and adherence to the organization’s nursing policy and procedures. Thorough knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques. Required to work varied locations.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Review patient medical record prior to visit to ensure chart readiness for physician
  • Interview patients, take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess patient condition record vital signs in patient chart.
  • Function as triage nurse when necessary
  • Administer prescribed medication orally by injection or IV and document
  • Initiate intravenous lines, add IV fluids
    HOURS: 3 - 12hr shifts/wk. Weekdays 8am-9pm, Weekends/Holidays 8:30am-930pm
    Qualifications:
    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
    High School Diploma or GED required.
    Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing program. A.A., Diploma, B.S.N. preferred.
    Six months to one-year experience and/or training preferred in Urgent Care.
    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
    Current California RN License
    American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and IV experience required.

    Salary: Starting from $42.40 to $63.60 an hour

    Medical chart preparation, Vital signs, Injectable medication administration, RN License, Pre-examination patient preparation, BLS Certification, Medication pass administration, ACLS Certification, Monitoring and managing IVs, High school diploma or GED, Initial patient assessment, Document review, Managing patient records
