About This Position
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Physical Therapist-Clinical Director to lead our therapy services with passion and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the clinical operations of our outpatient therapy clinic, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care while managing a dedicated team of rehabilitation professionals. Duties
Lead and supervise the clinical team, including physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, rehab aides, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
Develop and implement comprehensive therapy programs tailored to diverse patient needs, including those with disabilities or visual impairments
Ensure adherence to all rehabilitation regulations, safety standards, and best practices in physiotherapy and patient care
Oversee patient assessments, treatment planning, and progress evaluations, utilizing your physiology and anatomy knowledge to optimize recovery outcomes
Manage daily operations of the outpatient therapy clinic, including scheduling, resource allocation, and maintaining compliance with healthcare policies
Provide hands-on physical therapy, demonstrating manual handling techniques
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate services for complex cases
Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and regulatory compliance records
Skills
Extensive knowledge of rehabilitation medicine, physiology, anatomy, and rehabilitation regulations
Proven experience in outpatient therapy management and clinical team leadership
Strong background in patient care across diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities
Proficiency in physical therapy techniques, manual handling, heavy lifting safety procedures, and CPR/BLS certification
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment
Experience working within outpatient setting is highly desirable
Ability to develop innovative treatment strategies that promote patient rehabilitation and functional independence
