About This Position
Staffmax Healthcare is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for 6 ASAP-start outpatient Oncology positions in Rapid City, SD. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with current oncology experience who want a consistent 4x10 schedule, no weekends, and no call.

What You’ll Do
Provide nursing care for adult Oncology and Hematology patients
Support BMT pre-transplant and post-transplant care
Room patients and obtain vital signs
Complete medication reconciliation, review of systems, and weight checks
Obtain orders and process patients for infusions
Chaperone providers during clinic exams and procedures
Perform chart checks and prepare patients for procedures
Review referrals and coordinate patient care
Work with physicians, ARNPs, clinical assistants, charge nurses, and other oncology team members
Document using Epic Ambulatory
Required Experience
Minimum 1.5 years of nursing experience – Required
At least 1 year of Oncology experience – Required
Outpatient clinic experience – Required
Epic Ambulatory experience – Required
Must have completed at least one prior 13-week travel assignment
Strong experience with adult oncology/hematology patients
Requirements
Active RN License – Required
BLS Certification – Required
Completion of an approved nursing education program
Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume outpatient environment
