The Medical Coordinator will often assist the vessels virtually with medical care when crew members become injured or ill while aboard a vessel. They will also assist in-person after the injured or ill crewmember returns to Seattle. • Oversee medical documentation processes ensuring accuracy in medical records and adherence to state healthcare regulations.
  • Review crew health questionnaires and identify items requiring follow-up.
  • Complete biometric screenings, including taking vital signs and blood glucose measurements.
  • Perform CLIA-waived testing, including drug testing and A1C testing.
