Regenirex - Pain & Precision Medicine is seeking a compassionate, engaging Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse who genuinely enjoys connecting with patients and helping them feel heard and supported. The ideal candidate brings warmth, professionalism, and strong communication skills to every interaction—whether answering phone calls, guiding patients through intake, or assisting providers during visits. Responsibilities
Assist patients by answering incoming calls and messages, addressing questions, documenting concerns, and routing messages appropriately to providers or other clinical staff
Perform patient intake, including rooming patients, verifying demographics, reviewing medical history, updating medication lists, and documenting chief complaints
Obtain and accurately record vital signs and other clinical information in the electronic health record (EHR)
Prepare exam and procedure rooms, ensuring appropriate equipment, supplies, and documentation are ready for each patient visit
Assist providers during examinations and in-office procedures within scope of practice
Provide clear patient education and instructions related to treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
Coordinate scheduling needs, including follow-up appointments, procedure visits, and referrals as directed by the provider
Support prescription refill workflows and communicate provider instructions to patients as appropriate
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the EHR
Monitor clinic flow and help ensure an efficient, organized patient experience from check-in through discharge
Uphold infection control standards and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment
Collaborate with providers and team members to support high-quality, patient-centered care
Experience
Active Nebraska LPN license OR previous Medical Assistant experience/certification
Prior experience in outpatient or specialty clinic preferred
Strong communication skills and a calm, professional phone presence
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
Basic computer and EHR proficiency
