About This Position
Job Description Summary
As an LVN, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients in the comfort of their own homes
You will work closely with the patient's physician, family members, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement a care plan that meets the patient's individual needs
Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes according to physician orders and established care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and behavior changes
Communicate regularly with the physician, family members, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on the patient's condition and progress
Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare techniques and disease management
Maintain accurate and complete patient records
Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure that patient needs are met
Provide emotional support to patients and their families
Qualifications
Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with a current license in the state of CA
Experience in a home health or related healthcare setting is a plus
Ability to work independently and manage own schedule
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
