About This Position
Registered Nurse (RN) | Bremerton Trails Post Acute | $45–$60/hr

We're hiring an RN to administer treatments, guide day-to-day nursing care, and support both residents and staff in a facility that values thorough, compassionate care.
What You'll Do
Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy
Assess resident response to medications, promptly notifying physicians of any adverse effects
Communicate medication/treatment plans, new orders, and potential side effects clearly to residents and families
Ensure proper storage, security, and disposal of medications, biologicals, and sharps
Keep medication carts, rooms, and refrigeration in compliance with facility standards
Support the Charge Nurse with condition-change assessments, physician/family notifications, admissions, discharges, transfers, progress notes, MDS assessments, and care plans
Help orient and train new nursing staff
Implement and supervise infection control, universal precautions, and safety policies
Participate in the Quality Assurance Program and respond to audit findings with corrective action
Assist with physician rounds, resident/family education, and dining program oversight as needed
Respond effectively to emergencies and disaster situations

What You'll Need
Active, unrestricted RN license
Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and geriatric nursing practices
Clear, effective communication skills with residents, families, physicians, and staff
Ability to supervise and mentor nursing staff
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
