Duties
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform personalized care plans.
Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols.
Manage acute and chronic pain through medication administration and advanced pain management techniques
Document all patient interactions thoroughly using electronic health record (EHR), Point Click Care.
Support specialized care needs.
Qualifications
Valid nursing license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Nebraska.
Proven experience working with diverse populations; experience in long-term care or nursing homes is highly valued.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate documentation.
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or Athenahealth; familiarity with laboratory processes and specimen handling preferred.
Excellent communication skills for triage assessments and patient education; ability to work effectively within a team environment committed to high-quality patient care.
