Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up interventional radiology equipment and supplies for scheduled procedures.
- Assist the clinical team during IR procedures, ensuring the imaging environment is ready and functional.
- Follow established protocols for patient preparation, positioning, and safety during interventional cases.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to workflow coordination in the IR department.
- Adhere to radiation safety practices and infection control standards throughout all duties.
Requirements
- Must be credentialed/registered as an IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) by the appropriate governing body.
- Demonstrated experience working in interventional radiology settings.
- Current certifications and/or licensure required to practice as an imaging technologist in the applicable state.
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and sterile/aseptic practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity, procedure-driven environment.
