Responsibilities
- Assist with resident/patient care tasks in accordance with established care plans and facility procedures
- Support nursing staff with medication aide duties as allowed by your role and state requirements
- Provide direct support with activities of daily living (ADLs) and comfort measures
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized patient care environments
- Document care provided and report observations or concerns to the appropriate team members
Requirements
- Valid CNA certification and ability to work as a Med Aide/Medication Aide per applicable state rules
- Medication aide-related authorization/certification as required to perform medication aide duties
- Basic clinical knowledge and ability to follow care instructions and protocols
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused mindset
