Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
- Obtain and document patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with patient assessments and document findings accurately
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of South Dakota.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in Acute Care or Clinic Setting is a plus
-Intravenous Therapy Certification is a plus
