Job Title: Travel LPN LONG TERM CARE

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) specializing in Long Term Care to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, with expertise in managing the complex needs of long-term residents. As an LPN in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care, supporting residents' well-being, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Weekly Gross Pay: $1,750.00

Weekly Taxable Pay: $504.00

Non-taxable Weekly: $1,246.00

Minimum 2 Years' experience in LPN LONG TERM CARE:

Genie Healthcare is currently seeking experienced LPN LONG TERM CARE to fill an opening place located in Jamestown, ND for $48.61/hr. (Taxed+ nontaxed)

Requirements of LPN LONG TERM CARE:

● Must have AHA BLS.

● Must have a valid state ND License or Compact license.

● Must have at least 2 years of experience as an LPN LONG TERM CARE

Responsibilities of LPN LONG TERM CARE:

Shift: - 12 Hours Variable Nights

36 hours/week. (3*12)

13-week contract

Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following prescribed protocols and safety standards.

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document medical information accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support, ensuring dignity and respect for residents.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.

Manage acute pain and provide specialized dementia and Alzheimer's care, including memory support strategies.

Ensure infection control procedures are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.

Support discharge planning and coordinate with families and healthcare providers for seamless transitions of care.

Qualifications

Valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the appropriate jurisdiction.

Prior experience working in long-term care facilities or skilled nursing facilities is highly preferred.

Knowledge of long-term care regulations, HIPAA compliance, and medical documentation standards.

Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate record keeping.

Experience with IV infusion therapy, catheterization, and basic life support (BLS) certification required.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with residents who have developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments such as dementia.

Demonstrated ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, including triage and acute care scenarios.
