About This Position
As an ER RN, you will provide rapid assessment and emergency care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries while working alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a fast-paced emergency department.
Responsibilities
Assess, prioritize, and stabilize emergency patients.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments.
Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes.
Perform triage and provide appropriate patient care.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals.
Accurately document patient care using the facility's EMR system.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.
Requirements
Active RN License (State or Compact License where applicable).
Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
TNCC preferred (varies by facility).
Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency environment.
