  • Clearly explain the procedure and aftercare instructions to clients and parents/guardians.
  • Follow established infection-prevention, hygiene, and bloodborne-pathogen precautions.
  • Maintain accurate consent, screening, and procedure documentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly prepared service area.
  • Monitor clients for immediate reactions or concerns following the procedure.
  • Follow established escalation and incident-reporting procedures when necessary.

  • Maintain professional communication with clients, families, and studio team members.

    Required Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of infection prevention and proper hygiene practices.
  • Knowledge of bloodborne-pathogen precautions.
  • Comfortable and confident working with babies, children, and parents.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patient, compassionate, and professional approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous pediatric, family-care, outpatient, vaccination, or similar nursing experience.
  • Previous professional experience working directly with babies and children.
  • Previous ear-piercing or similar procedural experience.
  • Current Bloodborne Pathogens training/certification.

Previous ear-piercing experience is preferred but not required. Training on the approved system and company procedures will be provided.
