Registered Nurse – ER – Lubbock, TX – Nights
Location: Lubbock, TX
Start Date: 10/05/2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 3×12-hour night shifts
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week
Local Candidates: Accepted at lower pay
Pay
Travel: $32/hr taxable + $1,008/week stipend
Maximum Weekly: $2,160
Local: $54/hr
Position Highlights
Emergency Room / Emergency Department RN
Level II Trauma Center
Comprehensive Stroke and STEMI facility
1:3 patient ratio
Patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
Approximately 136 visits per day
No floating between units at the primary facility
No on-call requirement
Block scheduling is available but not required
6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
First-time travelers accepted with qualifying ED experience
HARD STOP Requirements
2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
Epic experience required
Community hospital experience required
Compact RN license must be active and in hand at submission
Must have experience working with a 1:3 patient ratio
Must be comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric patients
Must be willing to work the required weekends
Must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Facility does not accept candidates with Nursys or background hits

Additional Information
Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
No call requirement
48-hour schedules are not approved
Block scheduling is approved but not required
RTO must be disclosed at submission and generally should be limited to 7 days or less
All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront
Travelers may be required to float to nearby sister facilities when operationally necessary
Candidate must disclose any previous Providence employment, including permanent, travel, registry, or per-diem work, along with location and dates
Two professional references are required during the compliance process
Modules are completed before start and/or during orientation
