About This Position

Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and recovery. Duties

Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform individualized care plans.

Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols.

Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, or PCC to document all patient interactions and medical records precisely.

Conduct specialized procedures such as catheterization, suturing, tube feeding management, and wound care including ostomy care.

Manage acute pain and critical conditions by implementing appropriate interventions

Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for diagnostic evaluations like laboratory testing, sonography, or medical imaging.

Provide education on health coaching, medication administration, discharge planning, and chronic disease management tailored to individual needs.

Support patients across various settings including hospital medicine units, emergency rooms, outpatient clinics, hospice & palliative medicine programs, and home & community care environments.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the highest standards of infection control and safety protocols.

Participate in case management activities for patients with complex needs such as developmental disabilities or memory care requirements.

Experience

Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospital or Long-Term Care

Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like PCC medical documentation.

Experience in specialized fields such as cardiology ,nephrology (dialysis), infectious disease care, geriatrics (long-term & assisted living), behavioral health.

Strong background in nursing practices involving ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for procedures, laboratory specimen collection/processing, and medical imaging techniques.

Familiarity with advanced nursing skills such as ostomy care.

Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges across various age groups including toddlers and seniors.
