DETAILS
Location: Omaha
Hours: Full Time and Part Time - Days
Including School day shifts - Weekday Monday through Friday
Client Specifics: Kids ages 1-19 years old with trachs, vents, and g-tubes
PATIENT POPULATION
You'll work one-on-one with pediatric clients who may require:
Tracheostomy (Trach) Care
Ventilator Support
G-Tube Care
Other skilled nursing interventions
As a School-Based Pediatric Nurse, you'll provide individualized nursing care for children ages 1-19 with complex healthcare needs while they attend school and participate in daily activities.
Deliver skilled nursing care in the school setting
Monitor and respond to each student's healthcare needs
Support safe participation in classroom and school activities
Partner with families, school staff, and clinical teams
Build meaningful relationships with the child and their support network
Help students achieve both educational and health-related goals
TRAINING & SUPPORT
Experience with pediatric complex care is helpful, but not required.
Our comprehensive, hands-on training program prepares you for success through:
Ventilator training
Tracheostomy care education
G-tube management
Clinical competency development
