Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The LPN will play an important role in supporting patient care, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and maintaining effective communication with the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Assist patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living as needed.
Participate in the development, implementation, and updating of individualized patient care plans.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including respiratory therapy modalities, and accurately document all care provided.
Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition, incidents, or concerns to the supervising RN.
Respond appropriately to stressful, unusual, and emergency situations while following established nursing procedures.
Follow and maintain infection prevention and control policies and practices.
Prioritize and organize daily patient care activities efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Provide patient education and instructions during hospitalization and as part of the discharge process.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with patients, families, nurses, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.
Demonstrate patience, tact, understanding, and professionalism when interacting with patients and coworkers.
Assist with the orientation and training of new staff members and students when assigned.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain clinical competency.
Apply new clinical knowledge and skills to daily patient care and share appropriate knowledge with team members.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Requirements
Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
Current and active LPN license.
Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to recognize and appropriately respond to changes in patient condition.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and use electronic healthcare systems and other facility-specific software.
Ability to perform the visual, auditory, and manual tasks required to provide safe and effective patient care.

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,100.00 per week
