Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene

  • Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely

  • Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates

  • Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents' conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records

  • Report any changes in residents' conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner

  • Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents' quality of life

  • Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents

  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care

    Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred

  • Ability to lift and move residents, as well as perform physical tasks associated with patient care

  • Current CNA certification in Nebraska required
