Position Summary

The Registered Nurse provides safe, high-quality, and compassionate care to patients in accordance with physician orders, clinic policies, and regulatory standards. This role includes patient assessment, medication administration, care coordination, patient education, and supporting overall clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Duties

Assess and monitor patients’ physical and emotional health.

Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as prescribed.

Perform nursing procedures including wound care, catheterization, and vital sign monitoring.

Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).

Provide patient education, health counseling, and support for care plans.

Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Patient Care & Team Collaboration

Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.

Communicate patient status, changes, or concerns promptly to the care team.

Provide guidance and supervision to LPNs, nursing assistants, and other support staff.

Provide compassionate, professional, and respectful care to all patients

Educate patients on basic instructions, treatments, and follow-up care as directed

Collaborate with providers, nurses, and other clinic staff to support workflow

Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards

Support clinic quality initiatives and performance improvement efforts

Compliance & Safety

Follow clinic policies, infection control protocols, and OSHA guidelines.

Maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations.

Participate in quality assurance and patient safety initiatives.

Respond to emergencies according to established protocols.

Strong clinical and patient-care skills

Proficient in EMR systems and basic computer applications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Language Requirements:

This position requires proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure effective communication in the workplace and with patients, families, and team members.

Qualifications

Required

Current RN licensure in North Dakota and Minnesota.

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

A minimum of two years' experience in a clinic setting.

Ability to perform nursing duties according to the RN scope of practice.
