Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Travel Contract
Location: Hot Springs, SD
Facility: Fall River Health Services
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Varied 8-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Weekly Pay: Approx. $2,000/week
Start Date: Approx. 2 weeks from offer / facility confirmation
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Hot Springs, South Dakota. The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and support patients in a Long-Term Care setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care under RN supervision
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Assist with personal hygiene and patient care needs
Monitor and report changes in patient condition
Participate in care planning and documentation
Follow infection-control and safety procedures
Provide patient education and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Work effectively with RNs and interdisciplinary teams
Requirements:
Active LPN license eligible to work in South Dakota
Minimum 1 year of LPN experience
Long-Term Care experience preferred
CPR and ACLS required
Basic computer skills
PointClickCare experience preferred
Must be comfortable with varied 8-hour shifts
Pay:
Approx. $2,000/week for 40 hours
