About This Position
Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or CNA with Medical Assistant (CMA) certification, where your compassionate care and technical expertise will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Responsibilities
Assist with patient intake processes, including recording vital signs and updating medical records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Support clinical staff by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and managing medical supplies.
Perform basic procedures such as phlebotomy, medication administration under supervision, and collection of specimens for laboratory testing.
Document patient interactions accurately, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment details using precise medical terminology and ICD coding standards.
Monitor patient conditions in inpatient or outpatient settings, including vital signs and physiological assessments pertinent to internal medicine or geriatrics cases.
Support hospital medicine teams by managing patient documentation, assisting with EMR/EHR management, and coordinating patient flow within emergency medicine or trauma centers.
Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, explaining procedures clearly, and ensuring comfort throughout their visit.
Experience
Prior experience working in medical offices, hospitals, or urgent care centers is highly desirable.
Demonstrated knowledge of dermatology, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or geriatrics enhances your ability to deliver specialized care.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management is essential for maintaining accurate documentation.
Experience with inpatient settings such as Level I or Level II trauma centers or PICU environments is a plus.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications like pharmacology knowledge or Level I trauma center experience are advantageous.
Proven ability to work effectively within fast-paced outpatient or hospital environments while maintaining attention to detail and patient safety.
