Pay
Bill Rate: $85.00/hr
Overtime Rate: $127.50/hr
Holiday Rate: $127.50/hr
Call Rate: $10.00/hr
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg RN experience
BLS (AHA or ARC)
CPI certification
Active RN license
EPIC documentation experience
Must be comfortable with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
Must have experience working day shifts
First-time travelers are welcome
Position Overview
Faith Health is seeking a Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract. The 38-bed unit provides care for adult and older teen patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including respiratory conditions, infections, orthopedic procedures, general surgery, urology, and spinal surgery.
Additional Details
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5–6
Must be able to manage a 1:6 ratio
May float to IMCU
Telemetry support available 24/7
RNs may be required to titrate drips, including Heparin
Weekend and holiday requirements as needed
Low-census/cancellation call requirements
Navy blue scrubs
Unit orientation: 1.5 shifts
Block scheduling may be accommodated
Radius rule: 45 miles
Pay: From $2,300.00 per week
